It took a story this bizarre to return me to blogging (sorry kiddies, I've been busy). Tiger, my man, to quote the legendary Bill Dukes: " You know you done fucked up right"? As a result of serial cheating on his wife (or more accurately as a result of being caught serial cheating on his wife), Tiger just announced moments ago he is taking a "indefinite leave from golf" . This has to be the most ridiculous case of a powerful influential man throwing it all away for a series of low class tramps in history. Congrats Tiger ...your the best ever!

I MAXXED!

I'm not easily impressed.

I just saw Star Trek on IMAX. I am currently extremely impressed! The cast, the plot, the nods to the long time fans,the special effects, IT'S ALL THERE! This movie was filled to the gills with impressive visuals, made all the more palpable by the 5 million square yard IMAX screen, but that was just part of it. This film has heart! EVERYONE of your favorites gets a chance to strut their stuff. Pine gives us a young James T. Kirk that is different but still resonates with Shatner's iconic performance, Zachary Quinto plays Spock with layers and nuances that show he was THE only choice for the role, Karl Urban simply IS Leonard "Bones" McCoy ...somewhere DeForest Kelly is smiling down! The entire cast brings thier "A" game.

J.J.Abrams has rebooted this series in much the same way Christopher Nolan brought Batman back from the dead. Prediction: This franchise MAY just "live long and prosper"!
